BOARDING HOUSE POD DOBÁKOM

         Is located in the mountain area of the Low Tatras mountain range, an excellent location of the boarding house - 9 km from Liptovský Mikuláš and 21 km form Ružomberok - guarantees good conditions for mountain hiking in the Low Tatras, High Tatras, the Veľká and Malá Fatra mountain range or Chočské mountain range. Another possibility is to visit the /ice/ caves in Demänová valley or archaeological open air museum Havránok. Folk architecture can be seen in Vlkolínec / recorded in the world site heritage by UNESCO/ , and in the museum of a Liptov village in Pribylina. A unique wooden church dating back to 18th century is only 1 km away from the house. The water sports resorts in Liptovská Mara, thermal water resorts in Bešeňová and Aquapark Tatralandia are open all year round. For the tennis lowers the tennis courts are available in the nearby village. Winter sport resorts in Jasná and Malinô Brdo, Donovaly ,Opalisko, Štrbské pleso, Čertovica offer quality skiing on well-conditioned slopes.

INFORMATION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION

         There are 3 apartments in the house, each provides 4 beds and 1 additional bed with own bathroom. There are also 2 double-bed room with the possibility of 1 additional bed. The facilities also include a common room serving as a dining room and for those who wish to watch TV or relax by the stove. There is a site for barbecue outside.

DIRECTIONS FROM RUŽOMBEROK If you drive from the town Ružomberok, follow the road to Liptovský Mikuláš, behind the petrol station SLOVNAFT turn onto the road 18, follow the road until you get to the village called SVÄTÝ KRÍŽ. Pass this village to get to the next village LAZISKO, where you will see a board CHATY POD DOBÁKOM, showing you a wood road, follow the road , after 1km turn right and you will see our building on the left.

DIRECTIONS FROM LIPTOVSKÝ MIKULÁŠ If you drive from Liptovský Mikuláš, first get to hotel JÁNOŠÍK – there is a traffic crossroad. Cross the bridge over the river and follow the road approximately 7 km until you get to the village called SVÄTÝ KRÍŽ . Through this village you will get to another village LAZISKO where you will see a board CHATY POD DOBÁKOM, showing you a wood road, follow the road , after 1km turn right and you will see our building on the left.
