JANKA HOUSE is situated in a beautiful setting of village Žiar at the foot of the Žiar Valley, one of the main units of the West Tatras. The Žiar Valley is the centre of wanted turistic routes and cycle tracks as well as the starting point of turistic ascents of nearby mountains of the West Tatras (Źiarske sedlo, Baranec, Plačivô a Baníkov). Include the typical slovak chalet - mountanous sheep farm with restaurant located above the village Žiar 1.5 km far from JANKA HOUSE. The chalet is in operation in the summer. In the winter the ski lift Dolinky is available right in the village. There is also the ski lift Podbreziny with artifical lighting 2 km far from the village. In the circle of 20 km there are all kinds of known ski resorts - Jasná, Závažná Poruba, Podbanské, Lipt. Ján ... .Close there are famous termal pool in Lipt. Ján (8km) and termal open-air swimming pool Bešeňová (20km).

The house includes 4 heated rooms with maximum 10 beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and WC. In the case of a bad weather there is a TV set with satellite antennna. The house has a nice garden with park for 3 cars.
