Surrounding areas, such as West Tatras, Choc Moutains and Low Tatras, provide countless opportunities for light, day-long hiking trips. For more experienced hikers, tours in High Tatras offer far more challenging experiences.
   Located nearby are also beautiful caves in Demanova Valley (20 km) and Vazec (25km).
   Aficionados of folkloric architecture would enjoy a visit to the Museum of Liptov village in Pribylina with its regular thematic events, such as Beekeeper’s Sunday, Lamb-herder’s Sunday, Thanksgiving, Saint Hubertus Day, etc.) and performances of various folkloric groups.

   Nearby is a picturesque village of Vlkolínec, which was recognized by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural heritage sites. Interesting is also a historical site HAVRANOK (15km) and other sites in the town of Liptovsky Mikulas.
