Rustical house Raj (Eden) in Jánska valley by the village Liptovský Ján is placed right into embracement of Low Tatra mountains in central Slovakia. The Liptov region offers active and passive holiday program, with many splendid attractive tourist places. Valley Jánska dolina is 15 kilometers long, at the northern side of Low Tatra mountains. A small river Štiavnica has made many karst holes, abysses and caves in this valley. The village Liptovský Ján is placed at the end of Jánska valley, where you can start your various hikes and trekkings to reach many interesting places until the main crest of Low Tatra mountains and its highest peak Ďumbier (2043m). Jánska valley is rich of plants and animals, with many rocks and wells of mineral and warm water. Behind the village Liptovský Ján, there is 800m long ski-lift with two ski-slopes of different angle and distance, within 280m relative altitude. Nearby there is swimming pool under roof with mineral water and a large summer open-air swimming pool.

Rustical house Raj offers private accommodation and 2-bed room in its comfortable apartment. There is an independent bathroom and kitchen, or kitchen corner, in every apartment with its own microwave oven, fridge, electric cooker, TV set and special health-designed beds everywhere. The house is completely built from massive wood with the original wooden roof, and a comfortable private balcony for every apartment upstairs.

Meals are not provided in the house, several different restaurants are just nearby down the valley. Several supermarkets and large groceries are in the town Liptovský Mikuláš, including many restaurants and nice pedestrian zone. The village Liptovský Ján has its own intersection at the northern highway D2. The way to rustical house Raj is cleaned from snow coverage in winter and full illuminated in night. The house is placed at the very end of residential area in valley. Motor cars are not allowed to go inside the valley, which is a natural preserved area with rules provided to visitors. The village altitude is over 700m, the valley is exactly north-south directed, summer temperature 20-25 Celsius, winter temperature up to minus 10-20 Celsius. Fresh mountain air smells by meadows and pine-wood.
